Metal Gear Solid Wiki is an independent, fan-run guide and news companion for METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2, the remastered collection bringing MGS4: Guns of the Patriots, Peace Walker and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel to modern platforms. We started ahead of the August 27, 2026 launch so that when you boot the collection, there's an accurate, well-organised resource waiting — whether you're a returning fan or sneaking into Metal Gear for the very first time.

How we work
Everything here is written by long-time series fans. For details about the Master Collection itself — the release date, platforms and what's in the box — we rely on Konami's official announcements and reputable reporting, and we flag anything still unconfirmed. For gameplay and story, we draw on the original releases of MGS4, Peace Walker and Ghost Babel. We'll keep revising pages as new information about the collection lands.

Metal Gear lives and dies by its story twists. Our character files and story guides keep major late-game spoilers behind clear warnings, but if you're brand new to the series, stick to the beginner guides and the timeline first — we'll point you the right way.
Art & content
The illustrations on this site are stylized concept-art pieces created for the wiki — rendered in the spirit of the games' tactical-espionage look, with official promotional material used only as loose visual reference. We don't republish Konami's screenshots, key art or logos as-is. Our writing is our own, and we cite our sources rather than copying them. If you represent the rights holders and have a concern about any image, contact us and we'll remove it.
